About : A massive parade is put on in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the occasion. Another important ceremonial practice is the "Honours List," a list that His Majesty produces every year to recognize exceptional contributors to the country. His Majesty together with the commanders of Malaysia's armed forces will perform a salute. The armed forces will parade through the square as trumpets blare and military helicopters fly overhead, in a massive display of patriotic force.
