About : During the three days of festivity, customs like eating only uncooked and nourishing food especially Podapitha are observed. The ladies bath the grinding stone as a symbol of Bhumi (Earth) with turmeric paste and adore with flower,sindoor etc and offering of various types of fruits are made. The women are given a break from household work. A lot of indoor and outdoor games are played and young girls play, swings tied to tree branches and Kabbadi matches are organised for men in many villages.
