Create a stop motion GIF from photos

A Stop motion GIF is a technique used in animated film making, in which the images are manipulated with a small time gap between each photograph. So once they are aligned in a proper sequence it appears as an independent motion.

This technique is very popular in social media and now WoFox has made it easy to create a stop motion GIF for the sequence of images and in addition, WoFox helps you to create the Stop motion GIF effects for texts and it has turned to be the most interesting aspect of designing.

Follow the below steps to create a GIF in WoFox.

Step 1: Take a sequence of Photography

• Take some perfect photographs that exactly lie in a continuous sequence thus conveying an action.
• Here we have chosen the sequence of images that convey the action of pouring tea into a glass.

Step 2: Select the Create option

• To easily create a stop motion GIF with a sequence of photos in WoFox, Login to WoFox with your credentials or sign up if you don't have a WoFox account.
• Go to Create button and choose GIF Templates.

Step 3: Select the post category

• The template category window appears, from which you can choose any of the template categories.
• Here we have selected the facebook post template category.

• You will be taken to WoFox's animated GIF editor.

Step 4: Add the first sequence of image

Now add the first image in the sequence to slide 1 of the WoFox's animated GIF editor.

Step 5: Add the text

Add the required text to the slide 1 of the WoFox's animated GIF editor.

Step 6: Select the clone option

Click on the Copy/Clone option at the bottom right side of the slide 1.

• The exact image and content in slide 1 will be copied to slide 2.

Step 7: Select the Image option

Now to change the background image, select the background category at the right-side panel and select the Image option.

Step 9: Select Upload

Now a Media Library window appears, click on the Upload option and upload the required image from the saved files.

Step 10: Click on Insert

Once the image is uploaded, select the image and click on the Insert option.

• The selected image will be inserted into the slide.

Step 11: Change the text color

To make your stop-motion GIF more interesting, change the text color and position for alternate slides.

• In WoFox editor you can add up to the maximum of 30 slides similarly.

Step 12: Select the Preview option

Once all the images and text are placed properly then click on the Preview option.

Step 13: Use Delay time and Loop count

If you want to adjust the time of the transition of each image adjust the Delay time and the Loop count present at the bottom of the preview window.

Step 14: Click on Generate

Now click on the Generate option to view your GIF.

Step 15: Preview is viewed

The preview of your GIF is viewed in a small window.

Step 16: Select Download

If you want to download the GIF that you have created with WoFox, you can use the Download option that appears in the GIF preview window.
