About : Pattambi Nercha is an annual feast at the Pattambi mosque that is held in the memory of a Muslim saint from the Malabar region, Aloor Valiya Pookunjikoya Thangal. The entire town will be colored and decorated. Caparisoned elephants are made to join the procession and various events like traditional dance, traditional orchestras like Panchavadyam and Thayambaka will be held on this day.
